At minimum, look for ISO 22716 (Cosmetics GMP) certification. If you plan to sell in the US, the facility should be FDA-registered under MoCRA. EU/UK market entry requires a Responsible Person and a Cosmetic Product Safety Report. Organic or natural certifications (Ecocert, COSMOS) may also be relevant depending on your brand positioning.
